As the creators of this website, Ocean League, we have worked tirelessly to present to you this important message of preserving our Earth. By human standards, there are some people who can make a bigger difference than others in this world. We believe that the quality of this factor relies on how hard a person worked to make this change. On this note, we want to spread the idea of saving our environment despite the fact that we are underage because we believe and know that we can make an imprint on this environment.

Hello, I'm Hannah You. I'm currently in 7th grade at Herbert Hoover Middle School. The ocean has always been a part of me, and after learning about the dangers it is facing, I decided to do something about it. Stories have always strengthened and comforted me, so I wanted to do the same thing to help the ocean. The ocean symbolizes the well being of many people in this world. I hope that my stories will inspire others to do what it takes to make the ocean healthier, day by day. Even though we might not feel up to the challenge, we can always make the right choice and do what is right.

Hi, I'm Lumina Zhang, and I am the 7th Grade Vice President at Herbert Hoover Middle School. I have always loved the ocean, so after learning about all the harm that we humans have created, I decided that I should act, to save the place that I love. I enjoy drawing and creating art using recycled or trashed materials, so I am responsible for the Art sections. I hope that after you make the crafts, view the pictures, and color the coloring pages that I created, you will be inspired to construct your own environmentally friendly masterpieces. I know that we may be small like a drop of water, but together, we can have the power of the ocean.

Hello! I'm Michelle Tan, a 7th grader at Herbert Hoover Middle School. Hannah and Lumina helped me get involved with this project because I learned how the ocean was in danger. The ocean's dangers made me feel that I should get involved and start to take action. I enjoy making presentations, anything tech-wise, and I am an aesthetic person. I created the slideshow, introduction, and the video below, hoping to spread awareness about how we can be able to help the ocean. I really hope that you, as an audience can enjoy our video and feel more involved with the ocean. Even though our small actions may seem useless, we can all work together to make a huge impact.
